About me

Who is
the author?

At eighteen he worked on construction sites and dug ditches. He later earned a PhD and worked at a university, only to return to ditches, simple construction and fence posts. Today he is building his own place for experiments and works on varied public projects.

Name later

For now, the project matters more than the person who began it.

Sooner or later I will probably say who I am, unless Earth 2127 disappears into the depths of the internet first. At this stage, I want the ideas to stand on their content, questions and openness to criticism.

Anonymity does not mean hiding the method. The website openly shows the role of AI, sources, later versions, errors and changes of mind.

The author's path

Education does not protect a person from getting lost.

It can, however, teach us to ask questions more carefully and notice our own ignorance faster.

01 / FORMER SCIENTIST

I worked at a university and published scientific papers. Honestly, they did not change the direction of science. They were reliable, but largely systemic work. That taught me the difference between producing content and creating real impact.

02 / FROM CONSTRUCTION TO SCIENCE AND BACK

At eighteen, I worked on construction sites and dug ditches. Later I earned a PhD and worked at a university. After the doctorate I returned to ditches, simple building work and installing fence posts. This path reminds me that every grand idea eventually meets soil, costs and human hands.

03 / PRACTICE

I am interested in agriculture and practise it, although I do not yet make my living from it alone. I am creating my own place for experiments with food, resource cycles and biological life. I work with many people and face the future with mild anxiety, but also with faith that it can be better.

04 / AI

This entire website and the ideas described here were created with the help of generative AI models. I work with AI every day. It helps me organise projects and plans. I believe that, properly implemented, it can also help us globally.

Why Earth 2127?

We live in a world better than most worlds available to earlier generations. That is not a reason to stop improving it.

We possess enormous knowledge, yet individuals and societies often still do not know what to do tomorrow morning. This includes me.

I want future generations to look at some of our problems with the same disbelief with which we view the limitations of the past.

The author's role

A person with a doctorate should share knowledge and reflections, sometimes far beyond their narrow specialisation.

An academic title does not grant infallibility. It should, however, confirm an ability to learn independently, work with sources, formulate hypotheses and connect knowledge about how the world functions.

Earth 2127 is not an attempt to pretend expertise in everything. It is an attempt to ask broad questions, invite specialists and create a place where different fields can meet.

HUMAN + AI

This text was not written alone.

I contribute experience, values, ideas, doubts and responsibility for the direction. AI helps organise, edit, compare and find gaps. A fluent answer can still be wrong, which is why the project needs sources, specialists and public criticism.
