A serious manifesto stores the strongest arguments against itself. It changes when the criticism is right.
A living decision register
Instead of pretending to know everything, the project records the maturity of each idea. The register should change after research, criticism, debate and experiments.
One infrastructure connects data, money, communication and law.
Separate powers, multiple models, human appeal, analogue access and local autonomy.
Evaluation of actions gradually becomes evaluation of human worth.
Ban a universal person score. A project may be assessed, never a participant's dignity.
Experts and models replace democratic conflict over values.
Experts describe consequences. People still choose goals and values.
A briefing hides assumptions or quietly favours one side.
Visible sources, alternative versions, adversarial review and a right to challenge the question itself.
A personal agent knows more than family, state and employer combined.
Local data, minimisation, encryption, clear consent and complete deletion.
Care for health and planet becomes control of food, travel and private life.
Voluntary advice, regulation of products rather than people, no punishment through withheld care and democratic limits.
A total ban may preserve demand while handing quality, price and violence to illegal supply.
Periodically compare the actual effects of prohibition, treatment, age limits and liberal harm-reduction policies.
A system finds an anomaly and wrongly labels a person or project as fraudulent.
AI may flag risk, but an adverse decision needs evidence, human review and an effective appeal.
An open model enables weapons, biological attacks, cyberattacks or mass manipulation.
Open methods, governance and audit, with graduated access to precisely defined operational high-risk capabilities.
Space becomes a private shelter financed by everyone else.
Public standards, shared financing and a duty to deploy technological benefits on Earth first.
Failure of AI or a supply chain stops the whole system.
Redundancy, manual controls, simple emergency procedures and independent local nodes.
We move organisms without understanding their web of relationships.
Long tests, distributed copies, careful introduction and the ability to reverse course.
Wealthy states and companies claim extraterrestrial resources and write rules for everyone.
International law, transparent agreements, broad participation and demilitarised habitats.
Open questions
It should not receive messages, browsing history, medical records, genes, beliefs, relationships or continuous location. Detailed purchases can be calculated locally, while the shared system receives only a necessary impact total.
We will need rotating oversight, independent audits, public records and the ability to run an alternative analysis outside dominant infrastructure.
A competent adult has the right to refuse. The system should verify decision-making capacity, explain consequences, offer less burdensome options and keep the path back open. Scarce resources are allocated by urgency, expected benefit and transparent criteria, never by moral judgement. Refusal affects a specific therapy only when it medically reduces the chance of success, not as punishment.
Yes. The first principle should be a universal right to understandable information, never a test that removes the vote. Accessibility and multiple independent summaries are essential.
The distant stages are deliberate speculation. Their purpose is to reveal requirements and direction. Early stages must remain useful even if the final image never happens.
It can be. The project needs a firm boundary between closed habitats and interference with environments where local life may exist.
